The RMCProfile version 6 package can be downloaded [https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmcprofile/files/Version_6.7.4/RMCProfile_V6.7.4_Linux_64.tgz/download here]. The current version is 6.7.4, this includes a significant number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. Just in case we broke something else the previous versions can be downloaded [https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmcprofile/files/ here]. 

The older RMCProfile version 6 packages can still be downloaded here ([http://www.rmcprofile.org/kits/RMCProfile/Linux/RMCProfile_package_linux_32.tgz 32bit]  [http://www.rmcprofile.org/kits/RMCProfile/Linux/RMCProfile_package_linux_64.tgz 64bit]). The this is for version is 6.7 which includes a significant number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. Also just in case we have really broken anything the previous version 6.5.2 can be downloaded here ([http://www.rmcprofile.org/kits/RMCProfile/Linux/rmcprofile_package_v6_5_2_linux_32.tgz 32bit] [http://www.rmcprofile.org/kits/RMCProfile/Linux/rmcprofile_package_v6_5_2_linux_64.tgz 64bit]). 

The (very) old 6.4.8c version is [http://www.rmcprofile.org/kits/RMCProfile/Linux/rmcprofile_v6_linux.zip here] just in case the new one is broken for you.

===Installation instructions current version===

To install RMCProfile on a Linux machine:
*Download the file that fits your system (i.e. 32 or 64 bit).
*Put the file in your top directory once it has downloaded. 
*Type tar -pxvzf rmcprofile_package_v6.5.2_linux_32.tgz (change 32 to 64 if you have that version). This will unpack everything into and RMCProfile_package directory. 
*To run the program, cd to the RMCProfile_package directory and type ./RMCProfile_setup and hit return. This should bring up an xterm window called RMCProfile version 6.
*To get started open the rmcprofile_tutorial.pdf file in the tutorial folder and follow the instructions. The RMCProfile manual can also be found in the same folder or [[Manuals | here]].

To install RMCProfile on a Linux machine:
*Unzip the file once it has downloaded. 
*Then copy the whole RMCProfile folder to somewhere you want to keep it, the top of your home directory is a good idea.  
*To run the program, cd to the RMCProfile directory and type ./RMCProfile_setup and hit return. This should bring up an xterm window called RMCProfile version 6.
*To get started open the rmcprofile_tutorial.pdf file in the tutorial folder and follow the instructions. The RMCProfile manual can also be found in the same folder or [[Manuals | here]].
