The RMCProfile version 6 package can be downloaded here. The current version is 6.4.8c, this includes a few new features and bug fixes, which are hopefully described in the manual.

Installation instructions

To install RMCProfile on a Linux machine:

  • Unzip the file once it has downloaded.
  • Then copy the whole RMCProfile folder to somewhere you want to keep it, the top of your home directory is a good idea.
  • To run the program, cd to the RMCProfile directory and type ./RMCProfile_setup and hit return. This should bring up an xterm window called RMCProfile version 6.
  • To get started open the rmcprofile_tutorial.pdf file in the tutorial folder and follow the instructions. The RMCProfile manual can also be found in the same folder or here.
