Revision as of 15:18, 17 September 2014

The RMCProfile version 6 package can be downloaded here (lion mavericks), unfortunately due to changes in the libraries there has to be different versions for lion and mavericks. The current version is 6.5.2, this includes several bug fixes and enhancement, including both BVS and distance window information can now be supplied in the .dat file. Just in case we broke something else version 6.5.1 can be downloaded here (snow leopard lion).

Installation instructions

To install RMCProfile on an intel Mac OS X machine:

  • Unzip the file once it has downloaded (your browser may have done this for you).
  • Then copy the whole RMCProfile folder to your Applications folder. This should make a folder /Applications/RMCProfile which contains three folder (exe, libs and tutorial) and a file called RMCPRofile_setup.command.
  • To run the program double click on the RMCProfile_setup.command file. This should bring up a terminal window called RMCProfile version 6.
  • To get started open the rmcprofile_tutorial.pdf file in the tutorial folder and follow the instructions. The RMCProfile manual can also be found in the same folder or here.
