Mac OS X v6

The RMCProfile version 6 package can be downloaded here. The current version is 6.5, this includes a few new features and bug fixes, which are hopefully described in the manual.

Version 6.5 is actually a major update as it merges the previous version with and EXAFS version, so just in case it has bugs version 6.4.8c can be downloaded here.

Installation instructions

To install RMCProfile on an intel Mac OS X machine:

• Unzip the file once it has downloaded (your browser may have done this for you).
• Then copy the whole RMCProfile folder to your Applications folder. This should make a folder /Applications/RMCProfile which contains three folder (exe, libs and tutorial) and a file called RMCPRofile_setup.command.
• To run the program double click on the RMCProfile_setup.command file. This should bring up a terminal window called RMCProfile version 6.
• To get started open the rmcprofile_tutorial.pdf file in the tutorial folder and follow the instructions. The RMCProfile manual can also be found in the same folder or here.
